The Minister of Glasgow Cathedral, Dr. Laurence Whitley has announced that he is to retire and his last service in the Cathedral will be at 11:00 am on the 9th of July. Although the entire Cathedral Congregation is saddened to see him depart, we wish him all the best in the years to come, and offer our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude for all he has done in the ten years of his Ministry with us.
The Kirk Session extends a warm invitation, to the many who have been involved in the Cathedral during Laurence’s Ministry, to join us for this final service, and a reception in the Lower Church afterwards.
